You need to have a full driving licence and use of a reliable car.
We are a family run care provider covering the rural and out of town areas to the West and South of Colchester including Stanway, Eight Ash Green, Marks Tey, Great Tey, Coggeshall, Kelvedon, Feering, Tiptree, Peldon, Mersea, Langenhoe and Berechurch.
We pay travel time at your normal hourly rate, plus mileage.
We are rated GOOD in all 5 areas by the Care Quality Commission.

Our office is in Stanway, we have a staff room to relax in during breaks that’s full of snacks, drinks and treats to help yourself to.
We have our own training room and equipment, and our managers hold qualifications to be able to deliver training in house. This means we can deliver training courses during the day, evening, or weekend to suit our staff.
We pride ourselves on having an amazing team who are friendly and supportive, it’s a lovely working atmosphere.
Experience is always a bonus, but providing you have a good sense of humour, a keen eye for detail and a caring nature, we can teach you the rest.
Training and shadow shifts are tailored to your experience and are all paid.
We pay for your DBS, uniforms and PPE.
If you want to progress, we’ll even fund and support you to gain care related qualifications. We always promote from within the company.
If you have not worked in care previously and are unsure what to expect, we are happy to talk you through the day to day kind of tasks. Like every job, there are good and bad points.
Yes, we have to wear full PPE and in the height of summer it’s not pleasant. However, you can be confident that when used correctly, you are safe.
Yes, we do have to do a COVID test weekly… and no, it doesn’t get anymore pleasant over time. However, it is reassuring knowing that we are taking steps to keep ourselves, clients and families safe.
We have access to the vaccine now, most of our staff have received their second dose already.
We assist many clients with their personal care. This is not optional, please do not apply if this concerns you. This becomes easier over time as you grow in confidence, to the point where it’s as routine as making a cup of tea. Assisting clients to retain their dignity and to stay healthy is vital to the role.
We provide end of life care. You learn that yes, it’s desperately heart breaking but you also learn to appreciate the value and honour for caring for someone at the end of their life, helping them to stay comfortable and peaceful. Retaining their dignity and carrying out any plans they had for their final weeks and days.
